Would you take your 2month old camping.

Kayla

I'm having my baby in June. My husband family does their annual camping trip in August. Our baby will be 2 months. I plain on breast feeding to. With the proper caution of course. would you take your 2month camping. Iv heard its easier to start them early and they sleep most the time.

Were an outdoor family. Camping, beach trips, hikes, bike rides you name it

Do it! Get her used to it early and she’ll love it when she gets big too!

Whatever makes you feel comfortable. But if it was me, I’d say go or it. 2month old doesn’t need much. Milk, clothes, changing things and they dont move. It becomes more trickier when they start crawling or need to be entertained.

We were told to get them used to your life as early as then can. Within reason of course lol. She will be 6 months when we take her. I would just worry about cold and heat:)

Of course proper caution will be taken. I'm just wondering how many mom would take their newborns. Were outdoors people

You go have fun. It does’nt matter if you are at home in 30 degrees or on camping in 30 degrees, only difference is that your little one gets more fresh air. As long as your LO stays in shadow with lesser clothes it will be just fine. Only thing to think about is that it needs more fluids, just as grown up do. And keep a light blanket 🤗❤️

I am due March 8th and we are going camping memorial day weekend. I'd say you're good 😊

It depends. Are you doing backwoods camping or car camping? I wouldn’t take my son backwoods camping before trying small day hikes first.

My mom had a baby this past May and we took her camping when she was about 2 weeks old. I’d just be cautious of mosquitoes and stuff like that.
