They say you don’t have to have intelligence to go to college/ uni, only be able to reference other people’s intelligence.
But honestly you do need motivation, resilience, good essay and research skills and the ability to turn up to lectures. And that counts more than smarts I think

You need to be motivated and gpood at studying/getting work done. You DO need to pull off a 2.0 GPA in order to graduate at a lot of schools, but that's like a C-average, so as long as you're putting effort in you don't have to be "smart". That being said, not going to college doesn't mean you're not smart. School isn't for everyone and depending on your job, they can give you on the job training to move up the ranks. As much as everyone digs their heels in about it, we need people to serve us fast food, and that's less and less becoming high schoolers (the ideal demographic) because they have all sorts of other obligations (like finishing school and becoming well rounded members of society through sports and clubs and community service).

I graduated high school with GPA of 1.8 (what a shame 🙈). I wasn’t dumb, I just didn’t care about school AT ALL, I was skipping, didn’t do my homework, I was after boys instead of being after booking.
I got SOOOOO lucky get into privet college with shitty GPA like mines. Like I said I’m not dumb but I’m not the smartest . My major was Criminal Justice not gonna lie it’s hard but super fun. I did my best and now my GPA in 4.0.
