How long were you dating when you decided you'd get married?

I'm not saying the proposal, just talking about it and deciding you would like to marry each other in the future. 
Is this a weird question? It feels weird.

We dated for 6 months and engaged for 6 months. Got married on our 1 year anniversary.

We dated 4 years before deciding we would get married one day and becoming engaged, didn't get married until our 10 year anniversary. We just celebrated 18 years together, 8 being married!

I moved out of state with my now husband after knowing him for 3 months. We knew we would be together forever of I wouldn't have moved with him.

Neither of us see marriage as an essential part of our lives or relationship. However we knew from the beginning that this was a serious relationship. Marriage isnt off the table per se but it would only be done for practical reasons and not religious or traditional

We're 6 years in, bought a house together and about to have our 3rd child  but we still haven't really talked about it. Like every now and then one of us will mention something that we'd like at a wedding but it's not neccessrily for when we get married if that makes sense? It's not really a priority at the moment 🤷‍♀️

We had been talking for 4 months but only dating 1 month literally Thanksgiving to 12/22 then we eloped 12/27  
We actually talked about marriage before we were really dating though lol when you know you know we just celebrated our anniversary and will be welcoming our daughter into the world at the end of march
