Hey ladies!

Quick question! I have been on some form of birth control since I was about 15 or 16. I am now 23, and have the Mierna IUD. I have had the IUD for about 2 years now. I’m just wondering if I take it out how long it will take for my body to regulate back to a normal cycle? I’m in a serious relationship and we are thinking about kids down the line here in a few years. I’ve been toying with the idea of taking my IUD out here in a few months to give my body time to adjust to not having birth control and regulate so we can try for kids in a few years. We don’t want a baby now, so we would take extra precautions if I got it taken out obviously. My Gyno pushes birth control like crazy so I’m wondering what your ladies’ experiences have been with how long it took you to regulate your period cycle?
