Having some much needed good days

I’ve noticed recently that my son who 5 months old and I have been having some increasingly better days together. Days where when I put him to bed at night I look back on the day and feel this sort of gratification I think only a parent - especially a mother feels —when you did your best, remained patient and took care of your child’s every need and enjoyed it. The days when you finally feel like you might be getting the hang of this whole “mom” thing. I love to watch my son change each day and I’m also I’m trying to have him fall asleep in my arms more often since in a few short months he will no longer fit so snugly as he does now. It’s so bittersweet this whole journey into motherhood.
