Disappointment

Im turning 17 tomorrow. I recently went off birth control for 2 weeks because of financial and family difficulties. I got back on it and i have been on it for almost a month now. No period. So i told my mom and we bought test and thet were both defective. So we went ro the doctor and got tested. I was so anxious but excited. I know i shouldn't have a baby right now but if i was pregnant I would be excited. When the doctor came in and said negative... My heart sank and i felt empty and i didn't know why. Now im laying in bed crying my eyes out feeling empty. Whats wrong with me?
