First timer

I am currently 5 weeks and 3 days.. I had a miscarriage early November so the doctor wants to see me at 6 weeks. I just wanted to see what typically happens at this first appointment? I am hoping to hear a heart beat? I just want to hear or see something, I am nervous 😔
