At first, yes. It’s just something different that you have to experiment with and get used to. 
Once you do, it’s becomes fairly simple and straightforward.

Practice!! Don’t be afraid to mess up and get messy for the first few times. Practice in the shower or bath, and I find running my cup under warm water helps with insertion ☺️

Well, it depends on your body. For me, it all depended on were my cervix was sitting. I could only use it if my cervix was higher. They make special cups for that, but I didn't have the money. They make all sorts of cups for the way your body is shaped. To get it in May be tricky, but when it's in you shouldn't feel anything. It shouldn't feel too high up or like it's gonna slip out. I loved my cup but after a few months it started giving me yeast infections. I'm pretty sure it was because of what it was made out of though. Just go with what your body tells you and listen to it
