Ultrasound pics?

Did any of you guys get shitty ultrasound pics and the tech said it was because you were overweight? I see all the other pics on Facebook and on here and I’m so jealous because my last ultrasound looks like crap! These are almost 10 weeks ago but we won’t get another ultrasound for the rest of the pregnancy so I just feel jipped. This was also my first abdominal but I don’t think everyone else’s looks like this.

Being “overweight” isn’t a valid reason she was just a bad tech and should be fired for even making a remark like that I’m overweight I was 196 my first appointment for a ultrasound and all of mine came out really good Size doesn’t matter and if it’s that deep they could’ve done a transvaginal ultrasound I’m sorry you had that kind of experience

I’m 350 at this point in pregnancy and no one’s had a hard time seeing anything. I’ve had so many I can’t even count, because of complications NOT related to my weight.

Um what the actual hell! I started out my pregnancy at 5’11” and 243lbs,I’m now 38 weeks and 256. We’ve only had one time where we didn’t get clear images and it was because of baby’s position to my anterior placenta. That is on the tech definitely not you! I’d complain or make a switch!

I'm over 300 pounds but I was able to get this one a long time ago. Lately they have been crappy because I haven't been seeing the same tech that took this one and was told the same as you.

Yep 😩 my doc booked me a 45 minute appointment so the tech had plenty of time to get decent pics but she fobbed me off in 15 minutes and said "it's hard, you have a very large bmi" rude and slack

No - my BMI is 50 and I’ve had perfect pics since I was 7 weeks (I’ve had LOTS of ultrasounds). You had a crappy tech. I might suggest going to a private ultrasound place and getting some
Good ones.
