So a little background, I’m almost 38 and I have a 15 year old and a 2 year old. I had a miscarriage at 7 weeks in late October. That pregnancy was our first cycle trying, but no luck since. I’ve had no past issues conceiving; my 15 yo was conceived after 4 months TTC and my 2 yo was a total surprise (I had an IUD!), but I’m concerned about my fertility declining now, and especially worried about egg quality.

My midwives practice doesn’t normally see anyone until nearly the end of the first trimester, which totally makes sense in normal low risk scenarios. But given the combo of recent miscarriage and my age, do you think I should ask to be seen right away if/when I get pregnant again?
