Go in or wait? 🤷♀️
I’m 39 weeks with baby #4. I’ve been timing contractions all day that started at noon. They’ve been consistent all day and getting stronger and closer together no matter what I do. I feel pretty confident this is early labor but I’m not sure how long to wait. They’ve been 4 min apart for the last 4 hours and feel like bad period cramps wrapping from my back to the front but they’re not completely unbearable. The problem is with baby #2 and baby #3 the pain wasn’t unbearable until the last half hour or so before delivery. My kids (ages 11, 7 and 5) are sleeping in their beds and it’s 0 degrees out and icy here. I hate to wake them up and bring them to their grandmas house if I could just wait til morning. It’s only 6 hours til morning and i know early labor can drag on and on and on. I’m just scared of waiting too long because I barely made it to the hospital with baby #2 and my husband is scared of transition coming on suddenly like it did with that delivery.
What would you do? 😩
