I couldn't breastfeed my oldest and my middle child weaned himself at 5 months. My youngest is now 16 months and has never taken a bottle or pacifier. He also refuses milk from a cup. (This does not surprise me as my other son won't drink milk either).

But I'm at a loss of how to encourage him to wean because I really have little interest in continuing to nurse, but I also believe he uses it like one would a pacifier to self soothe especially at night (and it's the only way either of us gets sleep). Any advice would be helpful and much appreciated.
