Weight loss surgery...
Alright, I've been dieting, exercising, and changing my lifestyle the last six months. I tried to keto, I tried intermittent fasting, i tried vegetarianism, and I tried eating overall more healthy and balanced meals . I haven't lost any weight. I'm about a hundred and fifty pounds overweight.
My grandmother has offered to pay the expenses of a weight-loss surgery. After researching the pros and cons, the Happy Endings and medical repercussions, I think I've decided I will consider the gastric bypass surgery.
It's a major surgery and is considered irreversible, but I think it might be my only hope to lose weight and be healthy.
I've been overweight since adolescence and was diagnosed with PCOS at age 12, if that means anything. I'm 21 now and can't imagine living another year like this. I'm starting to feel hopeless.
Does anyone have insight into weight-loss surgeries? Good or bad? Please!
