No Period But All The Symptoms?!

My period is about a week late now, I’ve had all the normal symptoms that I expect every month - sore boobs, aching ovaries, bloated, super thirsty... but no period has come!
I’ve been getting a brown discharge consistently for this week. Every time I wipe, it is there, and I would normally get this kind of discharge at the end of my period.
I did a pregnancy test and it was negative. Should I do a second test?
Has anyone else ever experienced this?
