When getting your hair done, how do you go to the salon?

Do you wash your hair prior to going?

Do you wash it the morning or night before?

Do you go without products in your hair or leave the day before products in?

I’ve literally always washed my hair in the morning, got ready & gone at whatever time it was at. My hair is thin & my roots gets oily when I sleep, so I have to wash everyday! Although I’m about to look into some dry shampoos, so drop your favorites please!

But my point in asking is, I’m getting my hair done next week for the first time in over 2 years & I am honestly unsure of what I should do. I’ve always wondered what everyone else did, I have heard color holds better on unwashed hair but I really don’t know 🤷🏼‍♀️
