Trying for a baby.. PCOS
When you’re trying for a baby with PCOS it hurts. It’s so hard sitting here thinking why me, why can’t this be my month. There’s times where you get a “pregnancy symptom” and you almost convince yourself you’re pregnant but once you pee on that stick you’re knocked down flat on your face. You look at it over and over, you use a flashlight thinking “well maybe it’s just faint and the lighting sucks”.. you wait and try again. Just one line.. It’s especially difficult when you’re in denial. Maybe it’s just too early to test? Maybe this pregnancy test is faulty.. so you go and spend more money on tests, wait another day or two and then you are devastated yet again. You stare at that one little line through your tears and think please let there be something. You then continuously google “ways to get pregnant” “how accurate are at home pregnancy tests” “pregnancy symptoms with PCOS” and so on. Typically not having a period is a good sign BUT with PCOS that happens sometimes. You can go months even years with out one- even on medication! You see all of your friends having babies. You even see drug addicts, teenagers, and other people that are unfit to raise a child get pregnant.. even just accidentally. Why is it so easy for them? Why can’t it be that easy for me?
