Pads to tampons???

Question

I’m thinking of changing from pads to tampons but I’m not sure. Today when I got hop I noticed my pad was rubbing and irritating my skin so I’m thinking it might be best to just try one out??? Any ideas of suggestions

It can be scary to use a tampon the first time, just remember to relax.. slide the applicator in until your fingers hit your body, push the tampon in, and slide the applicator out! It shouldn’t hurt and you shouldn’t feel the tampon in while you’re using it. I would recommend wearing a back up pad the first few times, because you probably won’t be perfect at inserting the tampon at first! 
Things to remember:
-use the lightest absorbency your flow allows 
-you can urinate while wearing a tampon and not have to change it
-change your tampon every 6-8 hours or so

Try a menstrual cup. I had so many issues with drynesses and irritation with pads. Tampons were a slight improvement but a cup made the major difference for me!
