People are saying I should take out my belly piercing when I get bigger ‘ but I don’t want to do I really have to ? Why do people say that ? Am I not allowed to wear it during my pregnancy? Has anybody else kept theirs in ?

It has to do with the hole getting too tight and causing your skin to become irritated and possibly infected. Some can get away with a pregnancy flexible ring but even that can become too tight.

I had to take mine out because the skin got too thin from stretching! Even now, the skin from where the ring would go got so thin and it looks really strange lol

I’m 34 weeks and I still have both my top and bottom belly ring in . They make flexible pregnancy ones but I found those uncomfortable. I only take the jewelry out every once in a while if it gets kinda uncomfortable.

Only take it out if it’s irritating you and you want/need to they make silicone belly rings for pregnant women once yours starts getting too small switch to the silicone one and you should be fine

I replaced my bar with a pregnancy bar around 20 weeks I think, maybe earlier. Even now without anything in it’s very tight so no chance I could get a bar in. Everyone’s different though so you could keep it depending on how you are.

You can keep it on, they make pregnancy ones that are really flexible. I’m currently 30weeks and 3 days and I left mine on for a while and now I have such an ugly scar !!
