I had a doctor appointment today regarding conception and potential fertility treatments, since my partner and I want to try again. I wanted to know some general info regarding PCOS and pregnancy troubles, since this time we’re actually TRYING to get pregnant, and I wanted to know if there was anything else I should be doing to keep the next pregnancy since I have underlying issues.

The doctor pulls out the 5th grade anatomical charts, and describes how pregnancy happens. As if I don’t already know? She was giving me a sex ed class, and I left with zero answers to my questions. She basically told me not to worry about it, and that I’ll get pregnant eventually. My partner asked me afterwards if she was drunk 😂 I got more answers from reading books than I did from her!
