My ex fiancé had a girl best friend.  They started banging 2 years into our relationship (possibly sooner) and now, 10 years later, are married.  So I wouldn’t personally date some one with a girl best friend again.

I've been best friends with a male since we were 7 years old.  We are 33 now.....when I start a relationship it is here is my friend I will not cut him off for you....it is not romantic but we have been friends for more years than we have not.

No. We view marriage from a religious aspect and we don’t agree with it, neither of us. The way we see marriage is that your spouse is your best friend, your other half or as sometimes else put as two becoming one. So no, I don’t agree with him having a female best friend. I don’t care if he has female friends, he’s actually got quite a few, just not a female best friend though.

My best friend is a guy.  He’s been around longer than my husband.  My husband on the flip side has girl friends as well.

Of course. Can’t tell my partner who he can and cant be friends with. However in my experience, they always bring bad luck. My ex cheated on me with his female friend, sometimes they are way too flirty and they step over boundaries. My current boyfriend had a female best friend and she became really abusive towards him because he was in love with me and wanted to be with me and not her. So honestly, they are just bad luck to me.

Damn I can’t believe how many people said no 🤦‍♀️. My boyfriend’s best friend is a girl and most of my friends are male. Neither of us have ever questioned or doubted each other. I don’t understand why men and women get so extra of the thought of people have friends of the opposite sex.
