10mg of Femara!?

Anyone else take such a high dose? Were you successful?

My doctor said there is no statistical benefit in taking anything over 5. That is the highest that she prescribed (obviously REs have different protocol)

Please don’t be mistaken into thinking the more you take the more chances you have to conceive! 
I took femara 2.5mg twice on cycle day 2 and twice on cd3 and then stopped. 
I gave birth to twins 😊😊 
I didn’t follow doctors orders on taking it for 5 days and on his cycle days. 
I chose my own because femara is extremely strong and I didn’t want to risk defects and/or damage to the lining of my uterus 
PLEASE RECONSIDER TAKING SUCH A HIGH DOSE

Just finshed doing 10 mg thos month and it did not work instead I had the feeling of arthritis everywhere had trouble moving my hands an all because Femara is a stimulate it targets things like receptors thats why its used to treat breast cancer in women . That being said it can affect your bone density etc I was never told this I didnt fimd out til after i was taking it . I started at 2.5 mg and worked my way up to 10mg . Im supposed to be doing this again soon but im not sure I want to because it felt so dangerous and it also grew a large cyst and I had to go to the hospital.
