Okay for some info, I am basically a glorified babysitter for my sisters children and my mother in laws child and that is my "job". I make around 480 a month, if I watched them every single day. Needless to say when we found out we were expecting I knew we would need help with my medical bills. Because my fiance makes decent money but not enough to handle that entire hospital bill. I am 25 and we are not married. I am still on my mothers insurance until a little after the baby is born. I didn't know I could get Medicaid while already having insurance until today at 10 weeks 3 days.

Well, after we found out I was pregnant we decided we wanted to move out of the place we shared with our roommates that are just not good people to have a baby around. (We also just wanted to get away from them either way) While we were looking for a place my parents offered for us to rent the inlaw quarters of their house and save up some money. We took the offer.

Well, I just started the online application for VA Medicaid and I'm kind of confused. It is asking me to put every person in the home and their income. But I am only applying for myself while pregnant. Why do they need everyone's information? I know once you are (I think) 22 they do not look at your parents income anymore. I'm afraid if I list everyone it think I'm applying for everyone to get coverage when I just want it for myself. And when I tried to not add everyone else it wont let me add that I'm on my mothers insurance. What am I doing wrong? Do I add them? Do I not?

This is so confusing.
