Labor makeup ?!?

I know this is weird. But is anyone going to wear makeup when they go into labor ? 
I was watching YouTube videos and I saw that a lot of the soon to be moms were packing makeup and false lashes for when they do or for the pictures afterwards. 
What are your thoughts? 
After watching them I thought about taking a pair of false lashes , foundation, and a soft blush for pictures afterwards but not during labor lol

Lol this is why I wear make up to every dr appointment. With my son at my 39 weeks check up I index up having to get induced. When I made it to post partum, the nurses couldn’t believe I was wearing a whole face of make up!

Nope. The last thing I care about is what I look like when I’m pushing a human out of my body. I will however do my makeup daily during my stay so I look half presentable to visitors

I went into labor right after a shower with my first. My water broke and so I calmly packed a bag for me and husband. I put on a little concealer, bronzer and a little mascara. I wanted to feel good going into it and I did! Looking at the pictures after birth I still looked like my average self! It’s all about how you feel :)

YES. I plan on a full face of makeup. I’ve had extended periods of hospital stays due to painful medical problems and I always felt better when I had makeup on. It’s not shallow it just helps me feel all around more put together and better about a painful situation.

Hell yh im getting my nails toes lashes n eyebrows done the day before I get induced I’ll bring my make up too but when ur midway through labour n after all dignity goes out the window u don’t care what u look like 😂

Honestly i would love to shower, and do my makeup when im in slow labour waiting to get to 4 minutes apart or whatever it is. Thats what id like to do but not sure if thats possible

I don’t wear makeup but I will get my eyebrows and hair done. That is a must lol. Can’t do lipstick cuz I will be kissing him like I did with my other 3. My sister had her makeup and hair done with my niece. My cousin was helping her fix her makeup I was just looking at them like ok one don’t have a kid the other this her first so they don’t know what is to come. Later that girl was sweating and her makeup was coming off and she looked ridiculous in pictures which was the opposite of what she wanted 😂😂. Lesson learned I assume

I just hope I have enough time to shower and wash my face lol I’m sure I’ll look like poop I don’t ever look good after running a marathon and I’m assuming that’s how this will go with the sweat and tears and red face and exhaustion lol

I want to bring makeup and maybe a curling wand. I'm assuming labor will be long and I'll want to distract myself.

During my first labor experience I think I had some basic foundation that I just happen to have on when I went to the hospital. For sure there were pics right afterward so this time around, if I have time, I’m going to wash my face, take a shower, and apply fresh makeup... nothing too crazy just something natural looking. For sure bringing face wash or makeup wipes bc I’m sure I’ll want all of it off after a couple pics 😂
