Should Christian women read things like erotica or “smut,” which is a teenage/adult woman’s version of erotica about a celebrity or character? If they read it and it helps them not act upon their fantasies, it it okay? I’m just curious.

Seeing as God made sex to be a holy thing between a woman and her husband, I personally believe that things such as porn or smut are against what God wants for us.

Reading "erotica/smut," is a nicer way of saying porn. Reading those type of erotic fictions opens up the gate to other things. Just don't even bother messing with it. It's a trap. To combat those questions simply ask, "Does it glorify God?"

Hm this is tricky. I think 🤔 it’s not someone else’s place to judge if it is a sin or not. Say I read it aloud to my hubby every night , is that a sin?! I would say consult your own conscience and Heart to tell you if it’s wrong or not. I’m not trying to split hairs here
