We have a 7 month old boxer puppy. She was a ton of work to begin with, but I work from home and had the opportunity to spend all day with her and train her to a point to now, where she’s very well behaved in the home, fully potty trained, and generally knows the house rules enough to be allowed to wander the home somewhat unattended. It’s amazing. I’m so happy. Especially because she made me cry on several occasions at the beginning from stress lol.

Now that she’s well behaved, I have often felt bad during the day while I work cause she lounges around my feet and just looks bored to death! I work on the computer all day so I hardly ever get up. I got it in my head that I wanted to get her a friend...

Fast forward to today and my husband is on his way home with a beautiful 3 month old blue nose pit female. It was important to us that we find another dog that could meet our boxers insane energy levels so they could happily play, and be close in age to her as well, but younger. When we go to the dog park my puppy’s favorite friend was a little blue nose puppy, so that was the inspo. Plus my husband used to have a pit.

Im so excited. But so nervous. My husband loved his dog. And I’ve only ever seen happy pit bulls! But every time I research them freaking everyone says they’re dog aggressive! I feel like they get a bad wrap so I chose to ignore this originally. But I am admittedly a little nervous that a Pitbull wasn’t the best choice for a companion for my boxer. Please tell me stories of your sweet dogs and show me pictures to show me I’m worrying for nothing lol
