Induction....?

Question

I’m getting induced tomorrow night which I’ll be 41 weeks and 1 day. I’m 3-4 cm dilated so it may not be a long process. Has anyone experienced induction? And how did it go? How were you induced? And how long were you in labor?

I got induced at 40 weeks with my first and I was only dilated to a 1. With you being so dilated it may not take long to progress. They had to break my water and give me pitocin. I took cervadil for 12 hours and then the next morning they started pitocin and from then it took 22 hours. With 2 hours of pushing. It wasn’t bad at all. I would do it again if I had to but I will opt for dilating on my own and going 41 weeks. Which is my doctors rule.

I was 40+6 when my waters broke but bubs passed meconium so they had to Induce me straight away. I went to hospital and I was 4 cm. I had him 7 h later. 
My experience was really good even tho the pain was extrem..by the end I had no break between contractions and no epidural!

I was induced at 40 weeks 6 days. I was 1cm dilated and 60% effaced. They gave me cervidil at 6p January 25th 2016 started pitocin at 6a January 26th 2016 they broke my water at 2p I had a dose of dilaudid at around 5:30p had a second at around 7 ish was told I couldn't have another till after 9 and I  told the nurse I would have her before 9 and she said oh honey I dont think so you're only at 4cm then at about 7:30 I dilated from 4cm to 10cm and 3 pushes later at 8:03pm my daughter was born.

Answer

I was induced at 40+5 and loved it. Had time to meet the nurses, have all paperwork and bloodwork done. I was admitted at 5pm 0cm and had my baby by 2pm the next day.
