Full moon and inducing labor??

uhcoog27

Soooo, I've heard many women go into labor during the full moon. My neighbor actually did this past Sunday. I am looking forward to the next closest full moon to my due date and online it states Feb 19 at 9:53am. Does that mean it will occur during the morning vs nighttime? I was confused by that, since I am used to them being at night typically.

I also have GD, so they will induce me at 39 weeks, but do they let you choose how far along on 39th week, for example the 19th I will be 39w4d. Or do they automatically do 39w0d? I am really hoping the full moon works for me, but I know it's all really up to baby. Just trying to help my chances of my water breaking on own, and avoiding an induction.

Please no harsh judgment, I am a FTM and unsure what to expect. My blood sugars are pretty controlled with diet alone. I know this isn't science based and more anecdotal.
