Do I know what the hell I am doing?

It has been 8 years since I had a baby and although I breastfed, I wouldn't say I was successful long term.

My baby is 3 days old. We've done pretty good. We both hate my left boob. He hates latching on and it seems like that boob never perks up. We usually only get 5 minutes of nursing on that side.

My right side? We do 10 to 20 minutes at times. I don't think my milk has come in yet. Is this all normal?

He nurses every 2 to 3 hours with a wet diaper every time and poopy almost every change as well.
