My SO is going drinking this weekend(my bday weekend and just now informed me) Literally any other weekend i wouldn’t care but he’d rather drink with his boy instead of spending time with me which is hurting my feelings quite honestly.

A few years back I got to eat Taco Bell for my birthday by myself also. My ex took off drinking with his buddies instead of being with me for my birthday...I was single by the end of the night.

I don't think your wrong. He's your partner and it's your birthday he should be with you if thats what you want.  And he should want to be with you... Id be raging if my bf tried that

Last year I did the dishes and went to bed early as hell on my birthday because my SO was out drinking too (I also was pregnant with his child and his other child who was 3 years old stayed up past his bed time wondering when daddy was coming home) needless to say he has not made that mistake again
