Last Baby at 37/38??

So I was having a conversation with my mom, who by the way had her first child at 16 and her second, me, at 21 and that was her last & she was done.

I had my first baby at 29. My second at 33. And now I'm pregnant with my third baby at 35. My husband and I were talking the other night, and decided if all goes well with this pregnancy (I'm 15 weeks now) and the birth and my body is still feeling well & good, that we would like to have one more child. I have always had complication free pregnancies, so far. Knock on wood.

Well when I casually mentioned this to my mom, you would have thought I told her I was going to blow up the universe. She thinks I am insane for wanting the have children "this old". And that this should be my last, and another baby in a couple years is a terrible idea. I explained to her that I enjoyed my single twenties and started my family in my 30s basically and that I don't feel that this is too old at all. I told her I felt that what I would not have liked for my life would have been to have a child at 16 and then my last child at 21. That THAT to me, would have not been MY ideal. Anyways... you can imagine how well that went over. 🙄

Everyone has their own opinions, I know some people have babies at 17 and some people are trying for their first child at 42.

Do you think 37 is too old for a last baby? Or any baby at all?

I have my feelings, but now I'm curious on other people's view

& If alot of people share my mom's oppinion.....
