First ultrasound one week behind

Hi! At my first ultrasound I was supposed to be 8 weeks but I was measuring 7 weeks and 1 day. Has this happened to anyone else?!? Does the baby catch up? She was having trouble with the measurement and said we would change the due date at my next appointment if it was still behind.
