I am 36+1 and this morning Ive been having period like cramping and my stomach is hard. Im not having discomfort anywhere else. What could this be?

That’s how all my early labors started doctors told me if it’s just tight with no pain that’s normal but the tightness with period like pain could affect your cervix and they tell me to drink a bunch of water and wait 2 hours and if they continue to come in it actually happened 33 weeks this pregnancy and I’m now 3 cm and 80% thinned out but they stopped and I’m now 36 weeks but period type pains are not Braxton Hicks they are actually contractions drink a lot of water I’ve been through a few early labors one at 27 weeks and one at 36 weeks and now this pregnancy almost at 33 weeks good luck they all started that way tho

I'm in the same boat. Got my 1st cervix check yesterday morning and have felt like cap ever since.

I would say early contractions, keep an eye on them and if they are 5 minutes or less apart go in. Your body is getting ready for baby to come.

Woke up this morning the same way about 4am. The cramping felt pretty bad.  They have went away now but feeling like sore in the pubic area. I had a cervix check yesterday, not sure if that maybe caused it 🤷🏻‍♀️
