So frustrated with sleep
My daughter seems to be in a sleep regression/growth spurt/ torture her mother with no sleep pattern 😜
Last week, my in laws watched her two days and never put her down for a nap. It’s probably coincidence, but I think that’s when it all started. I started seeing her waking at night when typically she sleeps from 8/9 until 4/5. She’s now fighting naps (can’t lay her down awake, can take 30 minutes to get her calm and asleep), and she’s waking every 3 hours at night and can’t get settled back to sleep for nearly an hour after I feed her. I’m hoping it’s a temporary issue. I’ve tried to just leave her to see if she falls asleep on her own, but she rolls around and kicks her feet while fussing until she goes into full cry mode and I go in and try rocking her to sleep. I’m exhausted. My husband is a deep sleeper and never wakes up overnight so I’m on my own.
I’m a little concerned that it could be a million things: her acid reflux acting up (the doctor wind up the Zantac until we go to her well visit next week), teething, difficulties digesting solids or the formula she gets occasionally (otherwise breast fed). I have no idea what to do to help, and have debated stopping solids or changing formulas. I’m so tired. Any other things I should try?
