Do you homeschool your kids?

Question

If so, what are your main reasons? 
Do you use an online program? 
How many kids do you have at home with you and what are their ages? 
Also, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I was homeschooled from fourth grade to graduation and it was great. It was me and three other siblings.
Co-ops and group activities are lifesavers. They take some of the pressure off the parents and give the kids a way to learn with other kids and learn new skills.
I had lots of friends for people who worry about that.
Homeschooling is really cool because you can do it however is best for your kid. 😊

I was homeschooled from 1st through 12th mainly because the school I was assigned to was in a very unsafe area and my mom was worried for my safety.   Through grade school, I had a "Super Work Book" with 800+ pages which I had to finish before the end of the school year though I usually finished early.  After that, everything was done online and I went to the public school every year for testing.   
I don't really have regrets with homeschooling; it protected me from a lot of the things students have to worry about today.  That being said, I've been an introvert ever since I was very young and not being around many children my own age really hindered my social skills.  Plus, when I got my first job at 19, I had to face things for the first time that most people had already dealt with in their early teens.

My boyfriend and his siblings were homeschooled. The reason being was that their parents don’t agree with public school systems for numerous reasons and with where they live (just outside of a small town) there wasn’t any decent private schools that had what they were looking for. 
They did correspondence. They found a program that met the standards to graduate according to the province, as well as a few extras that taught them what the parents wanted to include (Christian education). There wasn’t anything done online, all through books and work basically. I know tests and exams weren’t done at home in the same conditions, but I honestly can’t remember what was done for those. 
There were 4 kids, all two years apart. Homeschooling took place from nursery right up until grade 12.  
All 4 had no problems with being educated this way. They don’t feel as if they missed out on anything due to not going to a school. They still had friends and extracurricular activities growing up. I’ve also heard rumours that homeschool isn’t good if you want your kids to succeed due to the education being lack which is a complete lie. The three oldest kids all graduated. The two oldest both went through college and graduate with honours and the third is currently in university. The youngest will be graduating Highschool in June and has already been accepted into college. Just as any kid, just depends on how much work they put into it whether it’s  homeschooling or regular. 
It is hard work. It won’t be easy if you choose to do it, but if done properly and you have the means and situation to do so, it’s a good option

My momma is homeschooling my brother and I did an online program most of highschool. We did it that way because of public school influence i.e she wanted us to be exposed to things in our own time. 
Also you get more opportunities to learn more life skills in home schooling like calculating your martgage, taxes, manage money, sign language etc. I also was able to learn things at my own pace and get one on one attention with harder things like math for me. 
Also now they dont teach things in school lile cursive (cant read declaration of independence) and we realized most schools dont teach about slavery history or the underground railroad. Also the mexican heritage in america either
Home schooling is easy to adapt not only to test taking but every day life with different teachers and video chatting with them. Also they have activities for homeschooled kids lile group field trips and dances so they really dont miss out.
Oh and my brother manages his time better in day to day tasks 
I also help him study as well with some things lile spanish,french, and sign language since I learned those and now my parents know them as well :)

We plan to.. no no online program.. I'll find a curriculum here. We have a few co-ops that are awesome.. maybe look for co-ps in your area.. I was even thinking of starting one since I have a Bachelors in Education.. I dont like the anonymity of online school.. i works great for some and that's a great tool for some.. but I like the relationships and things out there for home schoolers  these days..
