Ok so I thought about this a lot. The first time I found out I told family right away. It was 3 days before Christmas so they all knew. After losing I told myself I'd wait longer. I got pregnant again and waited until the ultrasound , which I did but the Hr was really low and I didn't know. I lost the pregnancy 2 weeks after my ultrasounds, I got it early because I ovulated late and I knew I wasn't 8w. 
So this next time I end up pregnant I at first thought I'm going to wait until I'm about 20 or so weeks ... I was recently listening to Jamie Otis' podcast "hot marriage cool parents". I've followed her since day one of Married at first sight. She's had losses. Well they were talking about the whole waiting to announce and how they see every pregnancy as a blessing , why wait. 
It got me thinking ... why should I wait, why shouldn't I announce at 8 weeks , why shouldn't that pregnancy be celebrated. So after I tell my family I'll announce probably by 9-10 weeks because I'm not ashamed of losing, I want my baby to be celebrated , it also helps to have support in case it does happen again.

It's up to you. I chose to share with close friends and my family because of something did happen I would want their support.

Whenever you’re comfortable! We told our immediate family and best friends the day we found out. We publicly announced at just under 11 weeks when we got the genetic testing and gender results back. I personally wanted to wait until after my 12 week appointment to hear the heartbeat again but my husbands mom started calling people and I knew if we didn’t go ahead and announce it everyone was going to find out from her

It’s up to you! I waited to announce until I was 12 weeks and then at 21 weeks had my baby and lost her so I had to also publicly explain why she was gone and what happened. 
When I am blessed finally with my rainbow I am not sure when or if I will ever announce until they get here. I am just not sure I want to live my life and have to share that sadness again if it ever happened

First trimester is higher risk to lose the pregnancy. Some people decide to keep it to themselves others not. Just keep in mind that if you lose it. People will still ask about it wich can cause you to feel sad longer.

I've had 2 miscarriages and one live birth. We announced early with 2 of those. The 2nd miscarriage was a chemical so I lost it a few days after my positive test. I announced early because the baby still existed and I wanted everyone to know, regardless of what happened. Some people feel differently. For my last pregnancy I waited until I got my first ultrasound at 6 weeks and we could see a heartbeat. I just felt like if we were okay announcing then we had to be okay with also letting people know if we miscarried. And we had lots of support and love so I knew that we would would be okay. But everyone's story is different.
