Baby shower - UK

So my friends spoke to me a few weeks back about them throwing my baby shower for me. They mentioned about inviting certain people and where it was going to be and whatever else.

I’m 34 weeks and nothing has been said since, I don’t know if it’s happening or if it isn’t. Me and my boyfriend was speaking about it last night and we have both said if nothing gets done we both won’t be very happy about it.

Another one of my friends has been engaged for 2 years and just booked her wedding for next year and the talk is already on for her hen do next year, the planning has started between everyone and I just feel if this can get said now why has nothing been said about my baby shower?
