Had a date night with my husband last night. Made me a wonderful steak dinner and we had sex for the first time in a few weeks. After sex he was COVERED in bright red blood like we had sex on my period! HOW SCARY!! so I immediately called my dr and they told me to come in. I wasn’t having any pain at the time so I drove myself leaving my husband with our two kids at 11pm. Got to labor and delivery at 12pm and I was 2cm dilated. They decided to keep me 2 hours for observation at first start me on antibiotics (incase she decided to come) and steroid shots for her lungs (OUCH) they checked me at 2 hours and now I’m 3cm so I had to stay for 6hours now!!! I was having heavy contractions every ten mins or so... after 6 hours they checked me again and no change. They advised me to stay for more antibiotics and my second steroid shot. I get those in about 4 more hours. My contractions have faded (thank god) and hopefully when I get checked nothing has progressed and I’ll be able to go home today after my steroids.... what a night 🤦🏻‍♀️ obviously not allowed to have sex again. Praying that my little girl stays in there for at least another week or two but not looking likely. Dr said being at 3cm she dosent think I’ll make it to my due date (feb 25th)
