Not sure this is the appropriate room....

I live in Connecticut I Have full custody of my son. His Dad has visitation Friday-Sunday, as well as some holidays. He's also supoose to pay half of child care and provide health insurance... Oh and pay child support. He does none of those things. He barely comes during his visitation. I want to move to Texas because my Husband has a great job there. Financially supporting my son would be better. Which would grant us a better living situation, health insurance and education. My son needs speech therapy, we can get better care for my son with the move to Texas. I mentioned all of this (minus his father not being a father) in my motion. I'm so nervous it'll get denied. I wish I would've mentioned how he (my son's dad) doesnt provide for my son and my Husband does.

What happens if it's denied? Can I retry? Any advice would be greatly appreciated
