Hello everyone! I am curious if anybody has had a similar experience or can shed some light. It has to do with the depo shot, periods ovulation, and HPV. YAY so exciting! 👏🏻😂

I was on the depo shot for about a year and a half (October 2016-January 2018). I stopped getting my period on the shot. I started spotting around August 2018 and I think I may have finally had a couple of regular periods! (TMI- but the blood was finally a bright red color vs a brown).

My question is, can you have your period and not ovulate? I bought a couple of ovulation tests and it is always negative. I also have purchased a basal thermometer to help and am using this app. I have this really big fear that I’m not going to be able to get pregnant or that the Depo shot really messed things up!

Additionally, I have tested positive for HPV (been years). I recently was referred for a colposcopy and biopsy. My doctor said things were a “low grade” and she believes it will clear up on its own. We are not scheduling papa every few months. In fact, my last one came back normal! She said she wants 3 normals before we go to routine yearly paps. Could this also effect my chances of becoming prego/ovulation? My doctor said it does not, but I would love feedback. Thanks!
