When are mummas going to start weaning?

My son is doing to right things... he brings everything to his mouth and can hold his head well (he’s advanced for his age)!

I'm not sure. I know that's a year is best. I wanted to stop at 6 months for my own selfish reasons because I didn't want to have to pump over the summer. I pump only and use formula at night. Nursing never worked out for me. Idk what to do now! I know food before a year is really just practice and they still get 99 percent do their nutrition from milk. 😕

We have a baby weaning “class” attached to my baby massage group and I believe that session is at the end of this month so depending on how she goes with it it may be very soon, I know they say not before 6 months but this girl is ready for it she cry’s when I eat and try’s to eat my food as well if I’m holding her and then drags my hands to her mouth when I’ve ate finger food 😂 she’s gona be a foodie.
