Should I tell my boss I'm pregnant?

Hey ladies!! So I am approximately 4w3d (still early) and I am really wondering if I should go ahead and tell my boss I am pregnant. I am a parts delivery driver which includes lifting heavy stuff 97% of the time. Help!!

I told mine because the morning sickness and fatigue is affecting my energy at work and I wanted to give them a heads up. They were very excited for me and also very understanding of the situation and told me to take it easy as best I can. I'm glad I told them.

I told my boss. It gives me loads of leeway so u don't have to tell them why your running off to the toilet all the time haha it also helps with any docs appointments you might have. I'm really lucky to have an understanding employer

I am waiting until I am 12 weeks at least. I don’t do super heavy lifting but I work in produce and do lift cases of Pineapple,Watermelons, cantaloupe and honeydew every day. What I learned from my previous pregnancy is if you were already doing it before your pregnancy it doesn’t need to stop unless your pregnancy is at higher risk.

I just told mine. I work with dogs at a doggie daycare/boarding facility. Working double shifts makes it very hard. I have no energy and most of he dogs are big and drag you and I told him that so he changed me to mostly morning shifts. In the long run it should make it way easier for you to work so please tell him. Happy and healthy 9 months mama ❤️
