So my husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for 16 months now. 16 months of negative test results, an early miscarriage, and unwanted periods. Yesterday I found out my sister, who wasnt trying to get pregnant nor wanted to get pregnant again, is pregnant with her second child. I was so happy for her in that moment. But as soon as I hung up I started crying. We have tried so hard and it still hasnt happened. And they weren't even trying and shes pregnant. I'm trying so hard to keep positive but sometimes it gets to me.

We compared when she possibly conceived. She says they had sex before he deployed on 12.26. Husband and I did as well. Except my period is due in 3 days. :(

Trying to remain hopeful over here and keep a happy face for everyone else but so heartbroken.
