Paint - toddler safe ? What do u use

Any paint brant recommendations please? My LO eats crayons but I was to try painting and am worried about even non toxic crayons paint in his mouth. Saw recipe for homemade ones but not aure on what safe food coloring is out there and google is not helping.
What do u use ? TIA

If it's just for pictures in the house/ for fun add a little bit of water to flour and add a few drops of the food colouring you use for cakes 😊
