Missed period negative test

I ovulated the 8th of January, had implantation cramping last week around 9dpo. I was suppose to get my period yesterday and I missed it and no sign of AF. Did anyone get a BFP even after negative test? Or how long should I wait til I restest? I tested today and it was negative.
