I just finished grad school and moved across country to the midwest 1 month ago to move in with my boyfriend of almost 4 years. Everything was lining up perfectly, my mom is getting remarried and also moving the rest of the family in 2 months to another midwest state - about 6 hours away from us. I had been looking for a job for about 2.5 months before the move and the month I’ve been here. Today I got an offer! But last night I found out my boyfriend’s been cheating on my for 6 months - at least.

I’m so lost right now, I thought we were just starting our lives and had it all ahead of us. Where do I go now?

Work a little and move out on my own in this cold (but beautiful) city I hardly know anyone in? Go back to my family home that’s being sold in 2 months and located in a town I left right out of HS? Go back to live in Cali with my college friends - and now miles away from my family?

Why is my life getting derailed right now?
