I applied for giant eagle curb side lead not realizing it was a supervisor role and I got an interview and I told me mom about it she thinks I can’t do it and that I don’t have experience, but if They thought I wasn’t qualified why would they give me an interview. I’m 19 and had multiple different jobs in the pas two years, manly retail and grocery stores, walmart, Sears, fresh tyme farmers market. What I mostly did was cashier & stock, at fresh tyme, I was a producer stocker and juice bar team member and that’s where I think my qualification comes from, we had to order more of what we needed for juice bar and work out our own scheduling. Anyone work for giant eagle and as team leader?? Do you think I can do this? I’m get to thinking maybe I can’t now since I’m young and really don’t have actual management experience. I think I can do it with help telling me what the store expects of me and that’s all I won’t know what’s needed unless someone explains it in the beginning. Will someone train me a little bit?? Help? Should I even take the job?
