Our son's got us trained and it's awful.

If he's not asleep, or wants us to come in to his room, he starts kicking the headboard of his crib.

The issue with that, is it's so incredibly hard and loud it disturbs the neighbors (and it's wayyyyy pulled off the wall). And he's definitely learned now that as soon as he starts kicking we come in.

I've done everything from move him away from it every single time he does it, to swatting his legs down, and nothing's working.

He does it in AM, PM, naptime, we're all going out of our minds.

I told the neighbors if they want it to stop they're going to have to just let it happen for a few days so he quits thinking it's his service bell, but they said they don't care. Which I can't really blame them because he gets up at 5am.
