Successful pregnancy if you didn't wait after MC?

Does anyone have a success story on getting pregnant immediately/very soon after a MC and having a healthy pregnancy? My doctor said it was okay to try again without waiting any cycles even though they used to recommend waiting 2-3, but it seems like many stories of those who didn't wait, ended up MC that baby too. Any stories where it worked? My husband and I are anxious to try again, but also anxious of another MC. Just looking for a little encouragement that it's possible!

Let me start off by saying that I became pregnant last year but lost my baby boy in March. I waited 6 months like my doctor recommended and had my positive in September. I lost that baby too at 6 weeks. I was told to wait 3 months and then try again. Well God had other plans and I was pregnant the following month in October without a period in between. I was put on medication to try and prevent a loss and I am now 18 weeks with a baby boy💙 so it is possible to have a successful pregnancy after a loss but my advice is to try when it feels right for you. Only you know what’s best.

What kind of medication did they give you to prevent another miscarriage? I’m currently ttc immediately after my miscarriage and have been wondering if there is anything I should ask about if and when I do conceive again.

I don’t have a personal story, but even better than anecdotal evidence, there was a large study done recently that showed that pregnancies immediately after miscarriage had just as high of a success rate as any other pregnancy.

I had a missed miscarriage and had to have a d&c. I waited for my period then tried again that month and got pregnant with my daughter, who’s healthy as can be and will be 2 on Sunday :)

No problem. I’m actually most likely going through another mc now and the dr said if I am I can start trying as soon as I get my first period
