My 22 month old still sleeps in his crib but his little brother is due in May and I want to transition him out of the crib. With my first she used a toddler bed but my son currently has a full size bed in his room in addition to the crib. Would you transition to a toddler bed still or just add rails to the bed he already has in his room? He climbs on and off of the bed fine the rails would pretty much be there to keep him from rolling out of bed while asleep.
