Can taking apart s blue dye test give a false positive?

Unpopular opinion here... taking a test apart isn’t going to some how magically change the results of the test. I even tested this myself because I had two tests left over after I got my positive... I dipped one fully intact and then dipped the other and immediately took it apart... guess what? Same exact results.

Okay for the people saying that taking it apart can’t “magically change it” Yes it can and it does. When the strip hits the air it causes evap lines. Don’t take the test apart

Btw, this isn’t a positive anyways. There’s not color to the line you see. I’m going to assume that’s the indent that catches the dye if enough hCG is present, which will turn grayish when wet.

If it’s a digital blue dye those always have two lines. I only trust red dye tests.

Sorry I meant to say false but i voted yes. I think its invalid

I took apart a pink dye last month and it was a false positive. I would just count it as invalid and retest again in a few days. Could be positive for all you know, but I would still retest. Good luck 💕
